Bough: C-Section Care

Bough is care for c-section recovery — the planning, the healing, and the weeks nobody prepares you for. It is in development and not released yet, so this page is short and honest: what we can tell you today, what we haven’t decided, and how to reach us in the meantime.

Where Bough is right now

In development. There is no release date, no beta sign-up, and no App Store listing yet. If you found this page looking for a download, there isn’t one — and we won’t pretend otherwise.

We’d rather leave a question unanswered than answer it with something we’ll have to take back. That’s how the app will behave too.

Common questions

What is Bough for?

C-section recovery: preparing for a planned or unplanned cesarean, healing afterward, and the weeks that follow — the stretch that most pregnancy apps hand off and stop covering.

Like everything Alibee makes, it is built on one rule: what you put in it stays on your phone.

When does it launch?

We don’t have a date to give you, and we’re not going to invent one. When there is a date worth announcing, it will be on alibee.io.

How do I hear when it’s ready?

Email [email protected] with “Bough” in the subject and ask us to tell you when it ships. We’ll use your address for that and nothing else — no newsletter, no marketing list, no sharing it with anyone — and you can ask us to remove it at any time.

Can I help shape it? I’ve had a c-section.

Yes, please. What you needed and couldn’t find, what nobody told you, what an app got insultingly wrong — all of it is useful, and it’s the kind of thing that changes what gets built. Write to [email protected].

Share only what you’re comfortable putting in an email. Please don’t send medical records.

Which platforms will it support? What will it cost?

Not decided, or not decided firmly enough to publish. Alibee’s shipped apps are native iOS, and our apps are free with an optional support subscription that gates no features — but we’re not promising Bough’s specifics until they’re real.

Will my data stay private?

That part isn’t in question. Every Alibee app runs on device, with no account and no server holding your records, and Bough is being built to the same rule. It will ship with its own privacy policy, published here before release — the same way Pare’s is.

Is this medical care?

No. Bough will be a support and information app, not a clinician and not a substitute for one. Post-surgical recovery can turn serious quickly — if something feels wrong, call your doctor or midwife, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.
